This model arrived in a plastic clam shell with a ziplock bag for the smaller pieces. There were 9 pieces all together.
The Armoured body The drivers visor 2x Track pieces The Hull 2 triangular pieces of plasticard 2 strips of wire for making grab handles. The Instructions are on a small single sheet of paper The armoured body was reasonable, with slightly heavy rivets but not too bad. There were no bubbles The hull required the removal of the pouring stub which covered the entire bottom the hull. There was some overflow of the stub onto some rivet detail which was lost in the clean up. The track assemblies were the main area of concern. Both had fine bubbles in the surface detail of the track but fortunately these were on the bottom. There was a lot of flash and other resin that needed to be removed. One assembly was so thin with a large internal cavity that caused some loss of tracks and areas so thin I was concerned the that it would be difficult to clean up. It survived. The most time consuming part was the clean up and creation of the grab handles. You will need to pre drill some holes for the handles. It took me about an hour to prepare, and assemble the kit. I enjoyed the kit which seems to be created for war-gaming The model has gone to paint shop. |
