Early Production (G1)
Jagdpanthers were equipped with two types of 88mm gun; early type gun was one piece (monobloc)
The early production Jagdpanthers had a small flush mounted internally bolted main gun mantlet and a modified Panther A engine deck.
Early models were mounted with two vision slots for the driver
Early G1s (to September 1944) were given Zimmerit anti-magnetic mine coating in a distinctive "small-squared" pattern.
Mid Production
later type gun consisted of two parts. Two-piece Pak 43/4 gun was introduced in May of 1944.
Mid production Jagdpanthers had a small flush mounted mantlet.
Mid production models had single vision slot.
Late Production (G2)
Late production model had a larger simplified, outside-bolted mantlet and a modified Panther G engine deck, though late G1s also had the larger mantlet.
Late models produced staring February of 1944 had single vision slot.
