Semovente 47/32 su L6/40: Used L6/40 chassis. Gun was placed inside a box like superstructure. After Armistice sent some to be used by Croat forces. Also used in Africa, Russia, and Italy.
Some converted to command versions with 8 mm MG made to look like larger caliber gun.
Semovente da 75/18 Su Scafo M 41: Colonel Borlese of the artillery suggested a self-propelled design using the M13/40 chassis with later vehicles using M14/41 chassis. First prototypes were tested in early 1941 and production started in late 1941. Equipped artillery assault groups of 2 batteries of 4 each and in 1943 3 batteries of 6 each. First saw service with Ariete in North Africa.
Command: Turretless M13/40 with range finding equipment and 2 radios. Armed with 2 8 mm MGs.
Semovente M 41M da 90/53: Gun was positioned towards rear and left crew exposed. The gun was an anti-aircraft gun. The engine was moved to the front so that the gun could be placed at the rear of a M14/41 chassis. Had to be accompanied by a L.6 light tank that was converted to an ammunition carrier that carried 26 rounds and it towed a trailer that carried 40 rounds. These were produced by Fiat, SPA, and Ansaldo during 1941. It was primarily used in North Africa.
German Use: Once these were taken over they were used primarily as long range artillery as it was difficult to use them in the mountainous regions in northern Italy.
Semovente M42L da 105/25: Built by Fiat-Ansaldo. Used widened M15/42 chassis. First 30 were delivered to Italian army.

Sturmgeschütz M43 mit 105/25 853(i): Took over by Germans and they had 60 built after Armistice.
Semovente da 149/40: Self propelled artillery weapon built by Ansaldo on an M15/42 chassis. It had no shield around the gun. It fired a 101 lb projectile 25,919 yards. The first prototype was ready in late 1942.
Before it entered production the Italians surrendered to the Allies.
