Vickers Mk VI Bridgelayer
The only Light Tank Mark VI bridgelayer ever built at the Military Engineering Experimental Establishment (MEXE) at Christchurch near Bournemouth in 1941.
The bridge was carried folded on top of the tank, supported by the frame in front of the vehicle. As it was laid it hinged open and was called a Scissor Bridge.
This vehicle is believed to have been lost at sea on the way to the Middle East.
